Weekend Trip to Hilton Head Island's Coligny Beach Park
The award-winning Coligny Beach Park is Hilton Head Island's most popular oceanfront park. Located at the end of Pope Avenue off Coligny Circle, the park provides access to miles of beautiful beach for all to enjoy.

Our Itinerary
Day 1 - Saturday (June 15, 2024)
Drive to Free Beach Parking, we reached around 1pm.
Weekends are very crowded in the summer months and the free parking area gets full within 11am. The alternate parking area is available near the visitor center at the University Campus. Free shuttle runs from this parking area to the beach park every 10/15 mins.
We spent 2 hours at the beach and had a lot of fun. Kids were super happy and enjoyed every bit of it.

Coligny beach park has very nice facility for taking shower and change wet clothes after the beach activity.

There are many local & fast food options nearby, we went to Wendy's on Kids' demand.
Night stay at Quality Inn & Suites Hardeeville - Savannah North.
Day 2 - Sunday (June 16, 2024)
Had our breakfast at hotel and started for onward journey at 8:30am.
We wanted to experience the peace of the ocean during the morning, so visited the Coligny beach on more time. We soaked our feet and took some cool pictures in the serenity & less crowd.

Charleston, South Carolina is known for its rich history, picturesque architecture, and colorful streets. One street, in particular, stands out for its rainbow of pastel hues – Rainbow Row. Located in the heart of Charleston’s historic district, Rainbow Row has been a beloved landmark for nearly three centuries.

After spending few hours in the Charleston downtown and taking some breathtaking picture we started our journey back home after having lunch at Chilly's.
As the day ended, we watched the sunset over the highways, grateful for the memories made. Together, we promised to return, our hearts full of joy and laughter.
