Weekend Trip to Hilton Head Island's Coligny Beach Park
The award-winning Coligny Beach Park is Hilton Head Island's most popular oceanfront park. Located at the end of Pope Avenue off Coligny Circle, the park provides access to miles of beautiful beach for all to enjoy. Coligny Beach Park Our Itinerary Day 1 - Saturday (June 15, 2024) Drive to Free Beach Parking , we reached around 1pm. Weekends are very crowded in the summer months and the free parking area gets full within 11am. The alternate parking area is available near the visitor center at the University Campus . Free shuttle runs from this parking area to the beach park every 10/15 mins. We spent 2 hours at the beach and had a lot of fun. Kids were super happy and enjoyed every bit of it. Beach Fun Coligny beach park has very nice facility for taking shower and change wet clothes after the beach activity.
